Who we are

ADEME Investissement is a €400m French state-owned equity fund dedicated to financing innovative infrastructure projects in the ecological transition. It invests alongside private partners to support the industrial scale-up of low-carbon solutions.

Funding Requirements

We invest in the first commercial deployment stage of ecological transition projects. It invests alongside private partners in capital-intensive assets where technologies are proven but not fully de-risked, with the objective of scaling industrial solutions, catalyzing private capital, and generating both financial returns and environmental impact.

ADEME Investissement brings a strong value-add through its ability to de-risk complex projects by combining public backing with private investment discipline. It leverages ADEME’s technical expertise, facilitates access to subsidies and regulatory frameworks, and acts as a credible anchor investor to crowd-in industrial and financial partners, accelerating project execution and scale-up.
