We are BGV, Europe's leading early-stage investor in tech for good businesses.

Funding Requirements

We invest in ambitious teams using technology to tackle social and environmental problems and drive positive outcomes for people and planet at scale. We invest across three themes - A Sustainable Planet, Healthy Lives and an Inclusive Society. We back ~25 pre-product, pre-revenue businesses through a Tech for Good programme we run twice a year (with £60k investments) and lead pre-seed or seed, and co-invest up to Series A into the most promising companies coming through our doors.

We look at all types of business models, technologies as long as your mission is to change people's lives for the better.

We can only invest in UK-registered businesses, backing founders with ambitions to scale beyond.

Value add

The Tech for Good programme is a six-week hybrid programme of support and 1:1 guidance. Following that you continue to receive tailored support from BGV on a 1:1 basis, and have access to our mentor network, founder community and investor circles.
