Brightmind Partners is an operator-led venture capital firm investing at seed and Series A in cybersecurity, AI infrastructure, and AI security. Founded in 2024 and based in New York, we closed our first fund at $250 million in 2025.

Funding Requirements

We invest in seed and Series A in cybersecurity, AI infrastructure, and AI security. We back technical founders building the security and infrastructure layer for AI-era enterprises — cloud security, CSPM, CNAPP, identity and IAM, application security and AppSec, GRC and compliance automation, vulnerability management, threat detection, SOC and security operations, observability, telemetry and data pipeline, and AI agent security.

Brightmind partners have been CISOs, distinguished engineers, and security product leaders at CrowdStrike, IBM ISS, Armis, Tanium, Exabeam, and The Home Depot. Portfolio founders get warm CISO introductions across the Fortune 500, hands-on technical review from our CTO function, help with positioning and senior hiring (VP Sales, CRO, Head of Security Engineering), and direct access to our M&A network across the cybersecurity buyer ecosystem. We invest in fewer companies so we can show up.
