Who we are

We are an impact focused venture capital firm actively deploying out of Fund I. Our founders have started airlines and insurance carriers, built companies that went on to have valuations over $1B and go public, and we've also run a top 99.6% fund globally (public equities, frontier markets). Seasoned operators and seasoned fund managers we've just entered VC as an asset class, and are excited to deploy capital backing strong founders in rapidly digitizing economies. Each of our investments has to show positive benefit to society and the people they are serving.

Funding Requirements

We invest in financial inclusion (fintech), such as credit, credit worthiness systems, banking, insurance, etc. We think this is a rapidly growing space in our target geographies, and a place where our invested dollars can perform well while having a massive impact in the local economies. Think of it as Web 1.0 investments.

Value add

As seasoned founders, operators, and executives we bring a wealth of experience to our portfolio companies. We've got unique experience in heavily regulated space, working with government regulators at very high levels, and in handling the press. When we invest we really roll up our sleeves and look to go to work for our founders.
