We are an emerging biotech VC that both invests in and actively guides new biotech startups emerging here in North Carolina. We are three operators-turned-investors who have built and exited biotech companies in North Carolina.

Funding Requirements

We invest in North Carolina entrepreneurs and founders in their earliest days of creating biotech startups, focusing primarily on human health therapeutics (+med tech) and pre-seed/seed stage.

Value add

We first recognize the need for pre-seed/seed capital in biotech today - and focus on being first check (or joining early investors), seeking to catalyze initial financing rounds in the $1-3M range. We are focused on helping founders build the right team from the early days, setting up proper governance and operations, and orienting the company towards achievable milestones that position the company for seed financing.
