FoundersEdge is a Boston-based pre-seed venture fund backing AI-native, software-first startups. We invest at the earliest stage in technical, experienced founders solving real problems with applied AI, and we bet on domain expertise over first-time hype.

We invest in pre-seed, AI-native software startups: applied AI, SaaS, B2B software, developer tools, and product, and UX-driven companies. Led by technical founders with deep domain expertise. Boston and New England focused, investing nationally in the USA.

We believe the least valuable thing we give a founder is the check. We help our companies de-risk the path to their next round through hands-on support, data-driven insights, and warm introductions across our investor and operator network — from sharpening positioning to getting in front of the right downstream investors.
