Who we are

Future Food Fund is Japan’s first food-focused VC fund based in Tokyo and investing globally in food and agri-tech. Founded as the venture arm of Oisix, Japan’s largest e-grocery platform, we leverage our platform and LP network to help startups commercialize, scale, and achieve strategic outcomes.

Funding Requirements

We invest in FoodTech, AgTech, and food supply chain AI startups from Seed to Growth. We focus on companies that can structurally transform food production, manufacturing, logistics, and consumption, with a strong emphasis on Japan-US cross-border opportunities and follow-on investments.

Value add

We support portfolio companies beyond capital by helping them enter and scale in the Japanese market. Our support spans test marketing, import and export, logistics, marketing, and access to retail and foodservice distribution channels, as well as introductions to strategic partners for long-term collaboration and M&A. Through our platform and deep ties across the food industry, we help startups commercialize products and services and expand globally.
