Who we are

We are Hadley Point Capital, a Philadelphia-based venture firm providing investment and advisory to entrepreneurs who want to go far and move quickly. We’re led by Frank Shultz, a founder and operator across software and AI, and Taryn McCarty, an operator and venture builder.

Funding Requirements

We invest in founders at the intersection of three things: a founder with real conviction, a market-changing or market-evolving idea, and a place where our operating experience materially helps. All three are required. We write $25k to $500k checks at pre-seed and seed. We’re sector-agnostic, with three exclusions: deep biotech and hard science, hardware-first, and crypto/web3. We lead and follow rounds, and we decide within two weeks.

Value add

Investment is a conversation, not a check delivery. We help build the product, operationalize the business, and steer founders through hard calls.
