Magarac Venture Partners (MVP) is a Pittsburgh-based early-stage VC firm investing early stage companies across the Midwest. Formerly known as Draper Triangle, we have over 30 years of experience and have become the premier early-stage firm in the Midwest

We invest in sectors where the Midwest has natural advantages—especially artificial intelligence, robotics, advanced manufacturing, and enterprise software.

MVP's thesis is built on the belief that world-class companies will emerge from undercapitalized regions anchored by technical talent, industrial strength, and leading research institutions.

Value add

At MVP, We typically lead or co-lead pre-seed and seed rounds, investing $500K–$3M with follow-on reserves. Our approach is hands-on: we provide go-to-market support, strategic fundraising guidance, and access to a network developed over three decades.
