Who we are

Oyster Bay is an early stage Food- and AgTech venture capital company founded in 2018, located in Hamburg Germany. We invest sector agnostic across the food value chain from AgTech to waste
We primarily focus on early stage investments, namely Seed and Series A. Additionally we do very selective later stage investments. Previous investments: Oatly

Funding Requirements

We invest in the food value chain, from ag-tech and food-tech products & services to innovative and better-for-you food & beverage companies.
The team is the centre of our attention. We look for founders who are ambitious, providing a product/service that positively impacts society. Lastly, the total addressable market & product-fit are vital.

Value add

We combine a hypothesis-driven investment approach with our unique network across the food value chain. Our unfair competitive advantage is our thorough understanding of the food value chain. This experience, based on building brands and companies in the space ourselves, enables us to better support entrepreneurs in their daily business.
