Who we are

Sand Hill North is the venture-arm of a Canadian family office. We look for pre-seed and early seed B2B software startups.

Funding Requirements

We invest in pre-seed and early seed. Our primary focus is B2B software, with a particular interest in AI for Robotics, EnergyTech, Space, and dev tools. Generally we avoid consumer and any hardware (even off the shelf).

We do NOT invest outside the US or Canada.
We do not invest in series-A or beyond (unless we're already invested).

Value add

We move quickly and with high conviction for our initial investment. Our initial investment is small ($50k) and we like to work with founders in the early days before making a more sizeable investment ($500k+).
