Who we are

We are CityVitae, a Miami-based EV charging operator and GP behind eMotion Investing, combining infrastructure deployment, site selection, technology, and network data to support asset performance.

Funding Requirements

We invest in asset-backed EV charging infrastructure through eMotion Investing, focusing on high-potential real estate, multifamily, hospitality, commercial, and mobility locations. Using CityVitae’s charging network data, site selection, technology, and operating platform, we target EV charging, transportation electrification, clean energy, climate tech, distributed energy infrastructure, EV adoption, recurring revenue, sustainable infrastructure, private markets, charging networks, and long-term infrastructure cash flow.

Value add

We are hands-on operator-investors. Through CityVitae, we support founders with EV charging site selection, project structuring, financial modeling, deployment, operations, pricing, utilization, vendor coordination, customer acquisition, and access to real estate, host, installer, and infrastructure partners.

Frequently Asked Questions

We prefer majority or controlling ownership of EV charging infrastructure assets, with operating rights through CityVitae. For strategic partnerships, we are flexible but seek meaningful ownership, governance visibility, and influence over deployment and performance.
Our due diligence combines investment, technical, operational, legal, and site-level review. We assess market demand, location quality, host agreements, utility capacity, permitting, equipment, installation costs, utilization potential, revenue model, operating risks, financial projections, and exit value. Through CityVitae, we also validate deployment feasibility and long-term asset performance.
We typically move from first meeting to initial decision within 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the complexity of the opportunity, quality of available information, site readiness, legal structure, utility requirements, and the level of technical, financial, and operational diligence needed.
After investing, we expect clear communication, transparency, disciplined execution, and strong alignment around asset performance. We value partners who provide timely reporting, escalate issues early, manage capital responsibly, and work closely with us on site deployment, operations, utilization, customer experience, compliance, and long-term value creation.
We may seek board seats or observer rights when appropriate, especially where governance, capital deployment, operational execution, or asset performance are material to the investment. In infrastructure or asset-backed opportunities, we are flexible, but we expect clear reporting, governance visibility, and the ability to support key strategic and operational decisions.
Yes. We reserve capital for follow-on opportunities when asset performance, utilization, revenue growth, and deployment execution support additional investment. We prefer to scale proven EV charging infrastructure projects and partners where operational data confirms long-term value creation.
Success means investing in EV charging assets or partners that move from plan to deployment, generate reliable utilization, produce recurring revenue, and create long-term infrastructure value. We look for disciplined execution, strong site economics, satisfied hosts and drivers, scalable operations, and clear evidence that capital is improving asset performance.
