I am an Angel Investor & Strategic Advisor.

Forbes Finance Council & Keiretsu Forum member, Shef holds a portfolio of 22 investments and 2 exits. A former software engineer, CTO, and CEO, he provides founders with capital and hands-on operational expertise to scale across the US, UK, and SEE regions.

Funding Requirements

I invest in startups aligned with the following:
𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲: Stage-Agnostic (investing across the full company lifecycle), except Healthtech, where I prefer Series A+.
𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀: FinTech (strong interest), AdTech, and HealthTech/MedTech/BioTech (A+ stages) - for B2B, as SaaS, with real AI, no wrapper? (Even better).
𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗿𝘆𝗽𝘁𝗼: I don't typically invest in crypto/blockchain/web3-related projects. An exception might be considered only for established market leaders in the space nearing IPO (unicorn status required, decacorn preferred).
𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀: Prioritizing highly innovative or disruptive technologies and business models.
𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲: Preference for experienced, serial entrepreneurs (2nd time founder or more).
𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: I may opportunistically invest outside this defined thesis based on immense personal belief in founders I know well, or for opportunities presented by highly trusted investment partners.

Value add

As an angel investor, beyond capital, I provide mentorship, strategic guidance, and network access. Leverage my deep tech and sales expertise for operational support, offering advice on challenges and joining virtual meetings. I can act as board observer for governance, while bringing patience, a long-term perspective, and moral support.
